Originally using foam to decipher a stereotomic form and then recreating the poly surface using the graphic tectonic.
The graphic tectonic is created by subdividing radial lines connecting from the corner point to the tangent edge. Adjacent edges taper to create an offset interior shape.
Projection of stereotomic form on graphic tectonic plane aligns with the underlying gradient.
